DJ Aaron Abramson & DJ Austin Burley travelled to Alexandria MN for Mitch & Britney’s wedding celebration at Gathered Oaks! This was such a fun wedding, and not just because Aaron was Mitch’s sister DeLaine’s Alexandria wedding DJ back in 2015 so he already knew one side of the family…. Britney’s family were just as fun and wild!
The Gathered Oaks barn venue is a beautiful place to have a wedding DJ, and the staff there were so great to work with.
We provided music, microphones, and coordination during the on-site wedding ceremony. And then Austin & Aaron kept everyone entertained through dinner with some little games for the guests to play when they clinked the glasses for Mitch & Britney to kiss.
Once the dance party started, the dance floor was packed all night long. We did a dollar dance, a bouquet toss, and an anniversary dance where we found Ralph & Linda were the longest married couple at 48 years!
Alexandria Photo Booth was there (website) providing photo booth services all night during the dancing.
Later in the night we kicked it old-school 90’s ending the night with Semisonic’s “Closing Time” After which the crowd was chanting “One more song!” and by special request of the groom, Mitch, DJ Aaron dropped “Barbie Girl” by Aqua and the entire place went nuts.
What a way to end an amazing wedding celebration!
