"To start off, Maggz missed our scheduled phone call to verify information. When I called her 2 hours after the scheduled time, she said she had forgotten. But, Maggs said that the online forms that we had filled out weren't the most useful and I could just make a Spotify Playlist and send it to her. I felt like that was not something I should do after already filling out the online forms. There were a few songs not available for selection on the online forms, so i gave her that list. A few days before the wedding, I had not heard anything else from Maggz, so I called her again to make sure everything was done. She said we were all good. On the day of the wedding, we arrived and met Maggs for the first time. When it came time to dismiss tables for food, Maggs did not do the best at dismissing them. She dismissed us at the head table to eat first, and the caterer had not yet finished setting up. It soon just became everyone getting up randomly. When we did speeches, I feel like Maggs could have tried a bit more to get people back inside and paying attention. Also introducing who was giving the speeches. Once the dance started, we didn't hear Maggs voice hardly anymore. She played the songs we had for each specific dance, but did not announce what was happening next. Once all of the specialty dances were over, the normal dance started. For the next few hours Maggs never talked over the mic to get people involved or change the pace of anything. We had selected and talked to her about being very involved in the service, and we felt that this was not the case. When Maggs asked us what kind of songs we liked, we gave her some artists that the bride really likes dancing to. Maggs did seem to only play that genre though. There were almost no older songs to get other people involved on the dance floor. Our must play list from the online forms also was not given priority. For the last hour of the dance we were having to go up and request the songs we had on the must play list. Some didn't get played. We were very happy with the sound quality and lights. But there was a bit about Maggs that just seemed a bit disconnected. From not calling or reaching out, to not directing the flow of the night or being too involved. I do not feel like it was a miscommunication though. Overall we enjoyed having pro light and sound do the wedding reception, but would have liked a bit more effort from Maggs."
